Deb is a life long resident of Evanston, Wyoming and shares a studio with her husband of 45 years, Rick Ludwick, who is also an artist. Deb started fusing glass in the 90's and immediately became enthralled with the idea of making her own stones for jewelry. Along the way, she certified in art clay and also became and expert lampwork bead maker.
Deb worked out of "The Glass Cat" studio in Evanston and then later moved to her home studio where she teaches private lessons in metal clay, glass fusing, and bead making.
In 2014, she discovered B Golden Jewelry School in Salt Lake City, Utah and became a permanent resident. Her glass cabochons are sold there and she is also the head instructor of bead making classes. Deb graduated from the B Golden Jewelry School "Jewelry Business Certification Program" in 2019 and is now an astute instructor of numerous classes.
